Foto Finish - Things in the City

The theme this week is 'Things in the City'.  I spent a lot of time thinking about this.  What's in a city as opposed to a town?  Parking garage?  Hotel?  Movie Theatre?  Traffic Signals?  Boring.  There's got to be something else.  Well, it just so happens that I live in the city - the capital actually - Concord, NH.  And like any capital, there's a capital building and lots of monuments.  As part of this Foto Finish, the guidelines are to enter only one photo.  I may be stretching the limit with this one.  The Statehouse,  Franklin Pierce,  Liberty Bell replica, war memorial, police memorial and Daniel Webster.

I've lived in New Hampshire all of my adult life and at one point, worked at the Statehouse but I've never really looked or taken photos of anything historical.  This was a great opportunity to do so.  And to use my new Scrapbook Factory Deluxe software.

Hope you have a good day.

Great shots. Older buildings make such interesting subjects. The state capitol building in Jefferson, MO was on my short list of possibilities for this week's post.

(Scrapbook Factory Deluxe can be quite addictive don't you think?)

Great shots! I like the montage you made of them too. :D
I had thought to take a picture of the Pasadena, CA city hall - it's used all the time in movies & TV - but I didn't have the time to run up there this week.
