One Flower Wednesday

'I'm late
I'm late
for a very important date
no time to say hello, goodbye
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late'

Today is not Wednesday.  Life got away from me and I wasn't able to get around to One Flower Wednesday until now.

I didn't actually make a flower this week but started another 'garden' with the leftover flowers from my Grandmother's Flower Garden.  Here's what I've sewn so far on the new garden:

As with most things, I don't really have a plan, I'm just sewing along.

As for the GFG, I'm still working on adding the white hexagons around the edges (boring!).

When I've added all I need, I'm going to cut it square without cutting into any flowers.  Then I'll add a border or two to finish it off.  I was originally going to do the whole thing with flowers (without borders) but it's a little too 'white' for my taste.  I think some borders are just what it needs.

To see other flowers and gardens, visit Karen at Journey of a Quilter.

Hope you have a good day.

Well I'm a bit late getting around visiting everybody's gardens, so you aren't alone.

I love both your gardens! Very pretty!
