Christmas Sewalong

Block #5 of the Christmas Sewalong hosted by SewHappy.Me is posted.  If you're following along, you can get the pattern here.  I've finished mine already but I've discovered a couple of things.  One - I stitched too fast and didn't take as small stitches as I should have so some of the hearts are messy.  Two - the glue from the iron-on batting is streaking through the fabric.  I thought it would wash out but not so.  I may just do this one again.  On all the patterns so far, my biggest problem has been the small hearts.  Clearly I need more practice.  Does anyone just sit down and practice their stitches without a project involved?  Perhaps I need to put it on my 'list'.

Hope you had a good day.

You're amazing! I've found that my stitching is getting better as I stitch more, but I've never sat down to just 'practice stitch'. These little hearts are very tricky for me, too!

Like Sunny, I don't "practice," but the more I do, the better it looks. Your stitching looks good to me.
