15 Minute Challenge

I finally got up the courage this past week to 'square up' my Grandmother's Flower Garden so that I can add borders.  I'm still auditioning fabrics and deciding how many, how wide, finished size, etc. etc.  I'm not in too much of a hurry.  I've tentatively set a finish goal of March 2012.  Doesn't that sound like a long way off?

For those who haven't been following along, I finished another block on the 501 Project.  It can be seen here.

And I started and finished a crochet pineapple doily called Pineapple Blossom from Leisure Arts Little Book #75013.  I had a difficult time with the first few rows but after that it was pretty easy.

Hope you have a good day.

the doily is beautiful! I haven't tried that yet. Don't think I'll get to that this year, but maybe next .. another thing for my to do list.

Love your bright GFG! I like this week's report too, very cute. The dolly is gorgeous too. You've been very busy! Good for you!

Do you really mean that doily wasn't too difficult? Seriously? Because I may have to try that someday!

And I love the Christmas look!

I am sure March will be here in no time. Love the grandmothers flower garden and the doily is just lovely I don't think I would have the concentration for the doily project though.

Both projects are beautiful! The doily reminds me of my abuela. She was always making doilies with pineapples in them.
