Catching up...

After another few days of being down and out with this cold/flu thing, I'm ready to pick myself back up and get going again.

I received the nicest gift today from Jeanne of All Things Quilty.  I won her giveaway of Georgia Bonesteel's Lap Quilting book:

This was the first quilting book I ever used.  I used to borrow it from the library for weeks on end and made quite a few quilts for the nursing home and a number of vests using the templates and blocks from the book.  I love this book.  Thank you so much Jeanne!

My friend Heike of Heike's Quilts and Socks has received the gift I made for her so I can show it to you now.  Remember these two 501 blocks?  I turned them into an iPad cover for her.  She likes fall colors.

I've finished another 'follower' gift and with luck, it'll get mailed tomorrow.  Photos to come later.

Hope you had a good day.

Glad you are feeling better. Hopefully you've got the cold/flu thing down for the count.

Congrats on the win! I'm not familiar with that book, but it sounds like one you'll get good use out of.

Very pretty I-Pad cover. I can't quite make out the qulting, is it a meander?
