Now I lay me down to sleep....

Little Girl is going to start sleeping with a pillow but she needed a pillowcase.  Lucky she has a Grandma who loves to sew.  Here's the pillowcase I made:

Isn't that the cutest fabric?  I didn't know what I'd use it for when I bought it but I just had to have it.  Anyone else like that?!

Yesterday, in addition to sewing the pillowcase, I took down the Christmas decorations and lugged them upstairs to my storage unit.  It's a job I'm not fond of but it always feels good when I'm finished.  The apartment does seem a little empty though.

I received my wireless printer on Wednesday and set that up yesterday too.  It's an Epson WorkForce 545.  It was easy to set up (once I realized that I had to type in my network password in lower case letters).  It is so nice to sit in my chair to print and not have to get up and connect my laptop to the printer.  I even figured out how to print from my iPad.  Today I want to print out some photos to see how they look.  I wasn't able to print photos on good quality paper with my old printer because the paper wouldn't feed without jamming.

This morning I started on a surprise for a friend..  She doesn't know what it's going to be but she did choose the colors.  Here's the teaser:

Hope you're having a good day.

Cute pillow case! Wanna come over and put my tree away? It's very simple, but my arthritis has been acting up, and I'm afraid to try to carry it downstairs. It's on dh's to-do list for tomorrow. He'll be thrilled. Really.

Great pillow case for a kiddo. I bet she loved it. Mine still likes the animal prints, but she's more into the kind that look like their fur, like zebra and jaguar prints.
