Finished with the Pink Family

On Friday I cut out three new blocks on the 501 Project and sewed them together yesterday.  This gives me six blocks in this 'pink' family of fabrics.  That's the number of blocks I sew to make lap quilts.  Sometimes I sew a seventh block so I can attach a pocket to make it a quillow.  I don't think I'll make the quilt just yet but the blocks are there when I want them.

You probably spent more time being discouraged last week for being off task than you did creating these blocks...lol! Why are we so hard on our selves?? These are Great blocks! I LOVE that pink paisley! Yummy! Are you sewing all of your blocks in the same size for the 501 project? They look big, and 6 would make a nice size throw! Congratulations!
