I wrote the other day about how I was going to make the blocks in the order I listed them.  This block was the first one of the day.  It has 68 pieces and took 3hrs 15min from choosing fabrics to completion.  It doesn't look that difficult but there are a lot of steps to putting it together.  Or maybe I'm just slow.  Even so, it was worth the effort.

Even though this next one has 69 pieces, it didn't take anywhere near the amount of time to piece as the first one did.

Lois' Star

This one was so simple but I spaced out and ended up having to 'unsew' one of the panels and attach it the correct way.  That's what happens when you don't pay attention.

London Roads

On this one I wanted the upper left triangle to be orange but I cut the piece too short and didn't have any more to try again.

London Square

Frustrated, I finished the block and called it quits for the day.  I put everything away and vacuumed instead.  After so many days of sewing, it sure needed it.  I feel so much better now.

Hope you had a good day.

I've loved seeing all the pretty blocks you've been creating. I admit I tend to shy away from the blocks with lots of pieces, but they look so great when you get them done.

I'm working on a center panel for a quilt called Doves in a Stain Glass Window. All in all it has 288 pieces and I can't wait until I finally finish it.

Congrats on making so much progress. All the blocks look great. Lighthouse is my favorite out of this set.

Wow... these are great blocks! I enjoy seeing your fabric choices... of course, I have to go look up the blocks in the book to see what those look like!

Lois' Star is stunning...
