Not a Court Jester's hat

After a long day, I like to rest on the couch with a bed pillow.  In fact, I just leave the bed pillow out all the time so it's ready when I am.  The one drawback has been that I don't have any pillowcases that go with the 'decor'.  And being fall, the blue snowman pillowcase just wasn't cutting it.  This morning I finally broke down and made a fall-ish colored pillowcase.  I used some leftover prairie points instead of the accent band I usually use.  I love the colors but it makes me think of a court jester's hat.

After I finish this blog post, I'm headed straight for the couch to test it out.  Here are today's blocks.

Star of Virginia

Thunder and Lightning

Tinted Chains

Tombstone Quilt

Triangle Squares

Turkey in the Straw

Twelve Triangles

Union Square

Hope you had a good day.

Those red, white and black blocks are all so stunning. The Tinted Chais one is my favorite of this set.

I like the pillow case too. You know a Court Jester was one of the few types of entertainment people had in those days. If you use it while watching TV, I'd say that was a perfect fit.
