Did you ever have a bad idea?

We've had some snow lately and very cold temperatures so I haven't been taking Bailey for his walks.  But this morning it's sunny and not too cold so we dressed up and went outside.  Just for fun, I let Bailey step into some of the fluffy snow to see his reaction.  It wasn't until I picked him up to go inside that I realized his beard, feet and belly were covered in salt and sand.  Did you see that coming?  Duh.  Needless to say, Bailey didn't like having a bath or being dried and brushed out.  And I wasn't crazy about having to sweep and mop the kitchen floor.  I guess I'll have to think twice about walking in winter.  10 minute walk, 45 minute clean up.

As I write, Bailey is sprawled out on the floor, snoozing but here are some photos after his bath.  He was a little wild.

Hope you have a good day.

He is so cute and looks very lively. Where did you find your tunnel for him? Was he afraid to go in it or did it move when he went in? My daughter wants a tunnel and agility course for her Maltese and I bought a cat tunnel that looks like yours only smaller. Her dog wanted to go in but it moved when she put her foot on it, and after that she wouldn't go near it. The cat's not wild about it either so I guess it was a waste of money.
