I wrote yesterday about the beautiful butterfly pattern.......... well today I finished one side and I have a problem.  What should finish as a 12 inch block is coming out as 10.75 inch block.  I thought perhaps I cut off all the quarter inch seams........ nope.  I thought maybe I printed it wrong since I'd printed it fit to page so I printed it again....... same result.  I cut out the paper pieces and taped them together....... same size.  I sent an email to the designer asking for help but she's in New Zealand so it may be a little while before I get an answer back.  Whatever size........ I like how it's turning out.

So I set it aside for now and went back to spinning the sample fiber pack.  Here's what I spun today.  The balls of yarn have the wrapper label stuck inside to remind me what type yarn it is------- Dorset Horn, Devon, Finnish, Falkland.

Hope you had a good day.

Gorgeous, no matter the size. Still you wonder if you took a wrong turn someplace when the block does not come out the right size.
