One Flower Wednesday

Karen of Journey of a Quilter has been hosting 'One Flower Wednesday' for ages.  I participated in it while I was making my Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt.  At that time I made so many flowers that I was able to make another Hexie Flower quilt as well as a couple other projects.  I still have some flowers left but not enough for another project, so I'm joining up again.  Here's the first one for this new 'season' of hexies.  I may be stretching the 'flower' interpretation but with the 4th of July, I couldn't resist.

When I participated before, there was a woman who was working on a hexie landscape wall hanging that I thought would be a challenging project.  I wish I had bookmarked it.  If anyone knows of such a project, let me know.

To see other entries in this week's 'One Flower Wednesday', visit Journey of a Quilter.

Hope you had a good day.

Luke 12:27  "Consider how the wild flowers grow.  They do not labor or spin.  Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."   (NIV)
