Busy Day

I walked, journaled and practiced piano before 8 am this morning then drove over to the church. I vacuum and dust the sanctuary level each Monday morning. After that I went home, had a quick breakfast and headed into 'the sewing room'. I received 'Quiltmaker's 1,000 Blocks' book late yesterday afternoon and thumbed through it but I'm going to need to spend more time with it before I choose a block to sew. Instead, I pieced 'Double X #4' from the '501 Rotary-Cut Quilt Blocks' book by Judy Hopkins that I used for the 501 Project. The block is one of my favorites.

After I finished the block and had a late lunch, I headed over to the Soup Kitchen to serve supper. I serve with a great team once a month. We have a lot of laughs.

When I got home, I rearranged the sewing room again because the flow wasn't right.

Note to self: Do not buy any more furniture unless you get rid of something first.

I think I'm ready to collapse now. How about you? How was your day? I hope you had a good one.

It always feels good when you accomplish a variety of things throughout the day. Sounds like you had a busy day. Love the fabric with the fall foliage :)

What a busy day! You may have to make adjustments to the room layout a few times before you get it just right. Happy sewing!!

Applause to you for the good deeds you do for your community. :-) I've rearranged my sewing room so many times my husband just shakes his head when I go at it again. But, there is a necessary flow needed. :-)
